Privacy policy
This covers what happens to your information when you use lakesidepartnersfl.com. It is short because the site collects very little: there are no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics.

Who we are
Lakeside Partners LLC, an accounting firm based in Orlando, Florida, working with businesses nationwide. If you want to reach a person about anything on this page, email alarue@lakesidepartnersfl.com.
What we collect
Only what you hand us, and one thing the site needs to protect itself.
- What you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, your company name if you choose to give it, and your message. Those four are the only fields that collect anything about you.
- Your IP address, briefly. The contact form checks it so a single address cannot fire off dozens of messages in a row. It is held in memory for about ten minutes. It is not saved to a database and we do not write it into our own records.
The hidden field in the contact form
There is one more field in the form, and you should know it is there. It sits off the edge of the screen, out of the tab order, and hidden from screen readers, so you will never see it or fill it in. Automated scripts that submit the form without looking at it usually do.
If it comes back filled, we discard the message. It records nothing about you either way. This is why the site does not put a puzzle in front of you before you are allowed to send us a message.
What we do not collect
We do not set cookies. There is no analytics tool on this site, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, and nothing that follows you to another website. We do not know who you are before you tell us.
We also never ask for, and cannot receive through this site: Social Security numbers, EINs, bank or card details, tax documents, financial statements, or logins to your accounting software. There is no way to upload a file here, and that is on purpose. When we are working together and real documents need to move, that happens somewhere built for it. This site is a front door, not a filing cabinet.
What we do with your message
We read it and we reply to you. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. Sending us a message does not put you on a mailing list. If we ever start one, it will be something you choose to join.
Your message itself is never written into our server logs. When the form goes through, our records note that a message was sent and an identifier for it, so we can trace a delivery problem if you tell us you never heard back. What you wrote is not part of that.
Other companies involved
Running a website means a few other companies handle your information on the way to us. These are all of them, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Vercel hosts the site and serves the pages. Like any web host, it keeps standard server logs of requests, which include IP addresses.
- Resend delivers the contact form to our inbox.
- Google Workspace is where our email lives, so your message sits in our inbox the way any other email does.
- Calendly, but only if you book a call. That happens on Calendly's own site rather than ours, under their privacy policy, and they collect what they need to put the meeting in a calendar.
How long we keep it
Your message stays in our email the way business correspondence does: as long as we need it to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will delete it.
Asking what we hold, or asking us to delete it
Email alarue@lakesidepartnersfl.com. You can ask what we have about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct something, or ask us to delete it.
You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask for one. We will come back to you within a reasonable time, and we will tell you when it is done.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type reaches us encrypted. Beyond that, the most useful thing a firm our size can do is keep the number of places your information lives as small as possible, which is why the list above is short.
No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to make that promise.
Children
This site is for people running businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We are not going to quietly rewrite it.
